BEXHILL IN BLOOM LAUNCH took place in March in the Garden Room, at BUPA Care Home, Bexhill sea front with Exhibitors and refreshments. The Launch was opened by the Mayor of Bexhill followed by a Gardeners Question Time conducted by Greenfingered Fred from ESK Gardening Club, Eastbourne. 

BEXHILL IN BLOOM PRIZE AWARDS also in the Garden Room, BUPA Care Home, 26 Brookfield Road, Bexhill sea front at 6.00pm on Friday 18 September 2009. Refreshments from 5.00pm

At the Ceremony of South & South East in Bloom in 2008, Awards were received as follows:

COASTAL CATEGORY: Bexhill won Silver and was the Winner in East Sussex

PARK CATEGORY:     Broadoak Park awarded: Silver Gilt

NEIGHBOURHOOD CATEGORY: Sussex Housing received an Outstanding Award

Collecting the Award were members of the committee.

What's-On includes regular Walks for Health along Bexhill sea front. These take place every Friday at 11.00am meeting at the Colonnade on Bexhill seafront.

The Bexhill Visitor Info Point (Bexhill VIP), based in the Colonnade Café on the Promenade, provides a facility for Tourists and Visitors to Bexhill as well as residents, businesses and Community Groups.
